Energy Audit and AI Monitoring for Gujarat MSMEs

An energy audit in India, for Gujarat MSMEs, with monitoring on the meters you already have. We work with certified energy auditors. The scheme figures below are assistance rates, not a saving we promise your plant.

Subject to the official Government of Gujarat scheme order and eligibility; verify with the District Industries Centre.

Scheme

What VGIP 2026 Covers

The figures below are assistance rates and caps from the MSME Government Resolution dated 25.09.2026, as summarised in the VGIP 2026 incentive guide (opens in a new tab). They are not Ellvero’s fees, and they are not a saving your plant has already achieved.

Energy or water audit

75% up to Rs 50,000

Assistance on the cost of an energy or water audit, within the cap in the MSME resolution.

Recommended energy-saving equipment

25% up to Rs 20 lakh

When the audit shows at least 10% saving. The 10% is a scheme condition, not a result we promise.

Industry 4.0, ICT and AI equipment

65% up to Rs 5 lakh

Monitoring and related equipment, within the cap in the MSME resolution.

ERP systems

65% up to Rs 1 lakh

Assistance on an ERP system, within the cap in the same resolution.

Subject to the official Government of Gujarat scheme order and eligibility; verify with the District Industries Centre. Figures and the operative window 01.06.2026 to 31.05.2031 are from the MSME Government Resolution dated 25.09.2026, as summarised in the VGIP 2026 incentive guide (opens in a new tab).

Approach

Our Audit and AI Approach

The energy audit process has two roles. A certified energy auditor visits, measures and signs the report. We put AI monitoring on the same meters so the plant can see the load after the visit. See Energy and Utilities for the wider practice.

A certified energy auditor

We work with certified energy auditors. Ellvero is not an accredited or empanelled energy auditor, and the report is the auditor’s.

Meters before new points

The baseline uses utility meters, SCADA and feeder data. A sensor partner is only for a load the audit cannot otherwise measure.

AI monitoring after the visit

Monitoring keeps the same feeders live so a recommendation can be checked, not only written.

Ahmedabad and other districts

Factories looking for an energy auditor in Ahmedabad start with the eligibility conversation. The auditor covers the district the plant sits in.

Verification

Proving the 10% Savings

Measurement and verification is a before-and-after on an agreed meter, with production in the note. Factory energy monitoring is that ongoing view. It does not replace the auditor’s report.

A baseline period

The audit records how the load ran before the change: shifts, production, and the meter that will be used again later.

The same meter afterwards

The saving is the difference on that meter, with production held in view so a quieter order book is not called a saving.

The 10% condition

Equipment assistance in this scheme summary needs the audit to show at least 10% saving. We measure toward that test. We do not assure the plant will clear it.

What did not count

The note says which loads were out of scope. An energy audit in India is only as useful as that boundary.

Claim

Documents for the Subsidy Claim

The claim goes through the District Industries Centre. The list below is the pack we help prepare. The DIC’s own checklist is the one that counts, and it can change.

The audit report

Prepared by the certified energy auditor, with the baseline and the measures.

Quotations

For the equipment the claim covers, matched to the measures in the report.

Measurement note

The meters and the period used to support the saving figure.

DIC checklist

The District Industries Centre’s current list. We do not replace that list with one of our own.

Sectors

Sectors

Gujarat MSMEs in textiles, ceramics, chemicals, pharma and engineering. A compressor or motor watch, when the plant wants one, is the single-asset maintenance pilot.

Textiles

Sheds with compressors, humidification and several shifts.

Ceramics

Kilns and mills, where heat and batch loads need separate meters.

Chemicals and pharma

Process loads, with validated conditions kept out of a casual setpoint change.

Engineering

Job-work shops where compressor and furnace hours move with the order book.

Time

Timeline

The scheme is operative from 01.06.2026 to 31.05.2031. Most applications must be made within six months of the triggering event. How long one plant takes depends on the auditor’s visit and on meter access. We do not quote a fixed number of weeks.

01

Eligibility

MSME status, district, and whether the scheme window still applies. Confirm with the DIC.

02

Auditor

A certified energy auditor is engaged for the visit. We are not that auditor.

03

Baseline

Meters and production for the period the report will use.

04

Report

Measures, the method of verification, and the 10% test where equipment aid is in view.

05

Claim

Documents go through the District Industries Centre. Most applications must be made within six months of the triggering event. Monitoring continues if you want the check afterwards.

Illustrative example

Illustrative scheme math

A worked example for a Gujarat MSME. It shows how the assistance caps apply. It is not a client result, and it is not an amount any plant has received.

Energy audit

A Gujarat MSME spends Rs 50,000 on an energy audit. Assistance is Rs 37,500 (75%), inside the Rs 50,000 cap.

Energy-saving equipment

The plant installs Rs 40 lakh of recommended energy-saving equipment. 25% is Rs 10 lakh, inside the Rs 20 lakh cap.

AI and IoT monitoring

The plant adds Rs 6 lakh of AI/IoT monitoring equipment. 65% is Rs 3.9 lakh, inside the Rs 5 lakh cap.

Total assistance

Rs 14.275 lakh, subject to eligibility

Rs 37,500 + Rs 10 lakh + Rs 3.9 lakh.

Figures show how the caps work. Actual assistance depends on eligibility and the official GR.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about auditors, the audit process, the 10% condition, and the DIC claim.

Are you an energy auditor in Ahmedabad?

No. We work with certified energy auditors. Ellvero is not an accredited or empanelled energy auditor. If you want an energy auditor in Ahmedabad, we introduce the auditor partner and run the monitoring beside the audit.

What is the energy audit process?

Confirm eligibility with the District Industries Centre, engage a certified auditor, baseline the meters, write the report, and file the claim the DIC asks for. Most applications must be made within six months of the triggering event. AI monitoring is the measurement layer so the same meters can be read again after a change.

Can you share an energy audit report example?

A client’s report is published only with their approval. The structure we use with auditor partners is a baseline, the measures, the meters used, and how a later reading would show whether the saving held. It is not a filled example with someone else’s numbers.

What does the 10% saving condition mean?

In the scheme summary we work from, energy-saving equipment assistance needs the audit to show at least 10% saving. That is a condition of the scheme. It is not a saving Ellvero guarantees for your plant.

Who files the subsidy claim?

The enterprise files through the District Industries Centre, with the auditor’s report and the documents the DIC currently requires. We help assemble the measurement note. We do not replace the DIC.

How soon must the application be filed?

Most applications under the MSME Government Resolution dated 25.09.2026 must be made within six months of the triggering event. The District Industries Centre confirms which event starts that period for the claim.

Check Your Subsidy Eligibility

Tell us the district, the MSME status and whether an audit has already been done. We will say what the next step is, and what we cannot confirm without the DIC.
